Liam closed his eyes and braced for the kitty’s claws to tear him into him. To surprise, it was hands, not paws, that reached him first. Before he knew what was happening, he felt himself lift upwards. He opened his eyes and watched the room blur before his eyes. He whipped his head around to see Cara’s face.
“Get back here!” she yelled. She gently set Liam down on the top of the shelf that he had been standing next to. Liam watched as his friend raced after the leprechaun and his feline friend. Up and down the aisles they went. As Cara ran around a corner, she knocked several items from a shelf onto the floor. The crash of the items hitting the floor brought Colin rushing out of the office in seconds. Josie came out of the Innovation Center moments later.
“What is going on in here?” asked Colin. Cara was hot on the cat's tail. They were both in a dead sprint. Suddenly, the cat took a sharp turn around another shelf. Cara couldn’t change directions as fast as the nimble cat. When she tried to turn her body to quickly race after the cat, she slipped and went flying into a rack of clothing.
At least the clothing provides a soft landing, Liam thought.
Colin rushed over to help his sister up. “Don’t worry about me! I’m fine! Get them!” she yelled.
“Who is them?” Colin asked. Apparently he had not seen the masked leprechaun or the orange cat that the leprechaun had been riding as they raced around the store.
   “The thieves!” Cara exclaimed.
“What thieves?” asked Colin, a very puzzled look was spread across his face.
That puzzled look would not last long. Suddenly, the leprechaun and cat bolted to a spot in front of the door. “I think she was referring to us!” laughed the thief. “But good luck with that. You’re going to need it! You’ll never catch us! Let’s get out of here, Meowsalot!” Liam watched in horror as the cat turned and ran out of the leprechaun door.
Cara had gotten back to her feet. She raced toward the door. Her brother raced after her. I’m no use up here, Liam thought, as he watched the siblings exit through the front door.
“You go that way. I’ll go this way!” Liam heard Colin yell from outside the door.  Luckily, Liam had his magical bag handy. He reached into the bag and grabbed the broomstick that The Good Witch had enchanted for him. He mounted the broomstick and took flight. As Josie raced outside, she opened the leprechaun door, and Liam flew through the small gap right after her.
“Do any of you see them?” Liam called.
   “Not this way,” called Colin.
“Not this way, either,” Cara called back.
Liam raced high into the air to give himself the best vantage point possible. Within moments, he could see the entire area around them. However, to his dismay, neither the orange cat nor the leprechaun were anywhere to be seen.
Liam circled the town nearby until he saw his friends return to the store. He flew back down to talk to them. “Any sign of them?” he asked.
“I didn’t see anything,” replied Cara.
   “Me either,” said Josie.
“I didn’t see them, but I did find these,” said Colin. He gestured toward two pieces of paper in his hands. As Colin held up the two pieces of paper for them to see, Liam quickly recognized the papers as Wanted Posters. Wanted Posters typically had a picture of a criminal and some sort of prize if the criminal was caught. Liam could not believe his eyes when he saw the faces on the two posters. On the first poster was a masked leprechaun. On the second poster he saw an orange cat staring back at him.
